My name is Dermot O Flynn and I have been a practising GP for 25 years.
I like to use the term Restorative Medicine to describe my approach to helping patients move through and onwards from their initial detox.
Due to my broad experience I am able to draw from a mixture of techniques from allopathic medicine, nutritional science, homeopathy, acupuncture and environmental medicine.
During or after the detox programme I start by assessing a person’s Cumulative Biological Damage Index. Currently we are able to access a host of biomedical data by analysis of stool, hair, urine and blood samples. These are by and large carried out in US-based laboratories using samples processed and sent from the UK. Thus I am able to get an accurate picture of damages done and more importantly create relevant and personalised strategies with the aim to restore health systems to previous efficiency where possible.
This Restorative approach provides the logical personal next step to the 1-1 detox programme. I don’t believe its always enough to simply stop the abuse of the toxic substance. The journey through the process of restoration is empowering and helps the recovery.
